Kawasan Wisata Kuliner dan Kebun Binatang di Merauke Dipersiapkan


Pemkab Merauke menyatakan konsistensinya dalam mendorong pembangunan yang cukup unik dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Setelah memastikan bahwa tahun ini sejumlah kampung telah tersambung sinyal telepon seluler, terobosan lainnya kini tengah dipersiapkan.
  Bupati Merauke, Rumanus Mbaraka kepada wartawan di Hotel Horison Jayapura mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya sedang mempersiapkan beberapa program pembangunan yang nantinya tidak saja memberi kesan menarik bagi kota tetapi juga pendapatan bagi masyarakat di bawah.

   Orang tidak ragu lagi meihat Papua sebagai daerah yang seram dan sulit komunikasinya. Orang akan tenang ketika komunikasi bisa dibangun dari hutan. Progres lain yang ingin dicapai adalah merubah wajah kota dengan membangun taman kota yang diberi nama Lingkaran Brawijaya atau Libra.
   “Saya ingin menunjukkan kota di Papua harus bertumbuh dengan pendekatan ruang yang baik. Artinya ada open rate dan open space di tengah kota agar kota tumbuh cantik,” katanya. Rumanus menunjukkan contoh soal pembangunan kantor bupati menggunakan performance arsitektural melalui pendekatan tradisi.

  Tahun ini Merauke juga tengah mempersiapkan lokasi kawasan kuliner wisata malam di tengah kota yang bisa dijangkau dengan jalan kaki dan di hari Sabtu Pemkab menyiapkan agar ada lokasi khusus yang tak bisa dilewati dengan kendaraan umum tetapi hanya bisa dilewati dengan jalan kaki atau bersepeda.
 Namun Rumanus menilai bahwa potensi local harus dikaji baik-baik dan tetap memprioritaskan masyarakat lokasi sebagai actor utama pembangunan. “Ini komitmen yang kami jadikan harga mati bagi infestor. Jika mau menanamkan saham di Merauke maka harus berdayakan masyarakat  asli,” tegasnya.

  Hal yang lebih unik lainnya adalah Merauke ingin membangun kebun binatang terbesar untuk menampung ssejumlah binatang. Catatan Rumanus, Kabupaten Merauke dikenal dengan julukan kota rusa nah akan ironi jika puluhan tahun ke depan anak cucu tak lagi bisa melihat rusa di Merauke.

DIVING    PARADISE
As the richest area, Raja Ampat’s total number of confirmed corals to 537 species and 699 mollusks species. Some area boast enormous schools of fish and regular sighting of sharks, such as wobbegongs. In Mansuar, it’s highly likely you’ll encounter large groups of manta rays and turtles. From the boats and often close to shore, you may get the chance to done your snorkeling gear for some unforgettable interaction with resident pods of dolphins or even some passing whales.

BIRD WATCHING
Other than the remarkable vast marine diversity, Raja Ampat contain interesting biodiversity as well a group of four large islands and two of the large islands, fused into one single landmass and due to its unique position in northeast Pacific, have produced many attractive avian delights of three endemic birds species, seven restricted    ‐range and about fifty widespread birds species that have occupied the land since long before human migration to these islands.

BEAUTIFULL ISLAND
On land, the survey found lush forests, rare plants, limestone outcroppings, and nesting beaches for thousands of sea turtles. The Raja Ampat are actually consisting of Four large islands of Waigeo, Bantanta, Salawati, and Misool, plus hundreds of smaller Islands area known as the Bird’s Head functional seascape, which also contain Cendrawasih Bay,the largest marine national park in Indonesia.

Besi Island which is known as WAKATOBI are located in the northeastern part of the Flores Sea, Southeast of the island of Buton. There are five main inhabited islands : Wanci, kambode, Kaledupa, Tomia and Binongko, and a number of smaller, mostly uninhabited, islands. The islands previously formed part of the realm of the sultanate of Buton, but since 1964 they have been part of the province of Southeast Sulawesi ( Sulawesi Tenggara ). The capital of the province is the sprawling town of Kendari, located on the shores of Kendari Bay. Until recently, the Tukang Besi Islands were part of the Regency of Buton, with its administrative centre at Baubau, and the region was divided into four sub ‐districts and which is the long name for WAKATOBI : WAngi Wangi, KAledupa, TOmia,and BInongko.
DIVING    PARADISE
The Wakatobi area is at the center of the global coral triangle, making diving in South East Sulawesi a unique experience. Colorful reefs explode with life in one of the most biodiversity regions of the Indo    ‐Pacific, and the world. The area harbors more species than any other tropical region because its bio    ‐diversity was not affected by the last ice age. Of the 850 coral species known to man, more than 750 can be found in the Wakatobi. The Wakatobi Marine National Park is the second largest in Indonesia encompassing 12.5 thousand square kilometers of protected Marine Park, and it is home to the largest atoll in the world. Long white sandy beaches are the norm and you will find many of the surrounding reefs unspoiled and in their natural state, giving you the opportunity to dive on pristine sites where you will rarely see other divers.
